What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, popularly known as CBD, is one of over 100 known Cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are compounds found in Cannabis, which is derived from Cannabis Plants. Even though cannabis has over one hundred cannabinoids, CBD, and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) have received the most attention. The cannabis plant has existed for centuries. Its species Hemp and Marijuana have rapidly raised eyebrows, with many having benefited from their different purposes. Research shows that both hemp and marijuana have the same chemical formula. The difference is prevalent in the orientation of the atoms, which affect the body in different ways.
Hemp contains a higher concentration of CBD than THC. Marijuana contains a higher concentration of THC than CBD. THC is the intoxicating, habit-forming component of the Cannabis plant.
