What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, popularly known as CBD, is one of over 100 known Cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are compounds found in Cannabis, which is derived from Cannabis Plants. Even though cannabis has over one hundred cannabinoids, CBD, and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) have received the most attention. The cannabis plant has existed for centuries. Its species Hemp and Marijuana have rapidly raised eyebrows, with many having benefited from their different purposes. Research shows that both hemp and marijuana have the same chemical formula. The difference is prevalent in the orientation of the atoms, which affect the body in different ways.
Hemp contains a higher concentration of CBD than THC. Marijuana contains a higher concentration of THC than CBD. THC is the intoxicating, habit-forming component of the Cannabis plant.
Our focus at Ladykind is on the benefits of CBD along with minor cannabinoids (i.e. CBG, CBN) in our wellness and self-care product range, offering natural solutions to women, 21 and above in their womanhood journey from menstruation through menopause. Plant-based cannabinoids work with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) in the human body. Some of its responsibilities include but are not limited to regulating sleep, pain, anxiety, and appetite.
Research suggests that cannabinoids may help to:
- Reduce inflammation
- Reduce pain
- Improve mood
- Relieve anxiety

The Cannabis plant is practically grown in every country in the world, according to World_Drug_Report 2013. Its origins traced to South or Central Asia.
Cannabis is one plant with two well-known species, and these are:
- Hemp – High in CBD, Low in THC (>.3%)
- Marijuana – High in THC (5% - 35%), Low in CBD
Let’s make it clear!
At Ladykind, we use Hemp-derived, Broad Spectrum CBD. Our products are THC-Free because we meticulously extract THC from raw CBD oil through a process called remediation. To ensure that we offer our Consumers products of the highest quality, we take it a step further by using an unrivaled refinement process to remove pesticides, solvents, residuals, and impurities.
Our products are third-party tested and verified for purity and efficacy.
Where do we get our hemp plants from?
We source our hemp plants from certified organic farms in the United States, making our products sustainable and traceable. Our intention is to be fully transparent to our Consumers, giving them peace of mind in their journey with us.
Ladykind product benefits:
Our products offer natural support to women ages 21 and above in their womanhood journey from menstruation through menopause. CBD in our tinctures, and CBD and Lidocaine in our pain-relieving cream, binds to parts of the body’s endocannabinoid receptors (CB1 & CB2) to boost the body’s production of its own cannabinoids. The ECS, as previously mentioned, is a sophisticated cell-signaling system in the human body that works to maintain homeostasis. Some of its functions are to help support emotional, intellectual, and physiological stability.
