In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month this month, we thought we would present a unique offering for you. đź‘€
The same way you hear about the importance of 'Spring cleaning' your home every now and then, you should aim to keep the same maintenance with your mind and body, too. The KonMari method, from which you've heard the phrase "you need to Marie Kondo your life" or something of the sort, demonstrates how decluttering and intentionally organizing your home space/belongings creates an optimal environment for you to thrive in as your best self.
Likely, this is not your first introduction to the famous concept. But have you ever considered that the same could be done for your mind?
This month provides the perfect opportunity for us to put what we preach into practice, starting with raising awareness about mental health within ourselves. As you stop to take a pulse check on your own mental health, we invite you to join us in performing this mental health cleanse.

In your journal, write and answer these four questions:
Â
- How have I changed since the beginning of the year? What changes are transpiring right now?
- What can I detach from? What habits, stories, relationships or projects are no longer serving me?
- What is serving me? What habits, stories, relationships or projects should I give more of myself to?
- How do I envision my future from here? What does it look like?
Â
If you don't own one, or don't prefer traditional forms of journaling, feel free to use a piece of scrap paper, google doc, the voice notes on your phone, or wherever else you like to record your thoughts instead. Make sure to take ample time to reflect on each question before answering honestly and intentionally. Give grace to what you need to let go of, and nurture your motivations for what's keeping you going.
We recommend once you're finished, to read back through and give yourself a few minutes to reflect on it in its entirety before wrapping up the exercise.Â
Thank you for joining us in trying something new. We hope this has helped you 'Marie Kondo' your mind, and create the headspace you need to kick off this summer feeling as mentally healthy as possible.
Before you go, we have one last bonus offering for you!
