5 Tips on How to Thrive this Summer on your Period : Summer is filled with exciting beach vacations wearing cute bathing suits and sundresses. But your period could inevitably put a damper on your highly anticipated summer plans, making you rethink, worry, and even cancel such plans last minute due to intolerable menstrual cramps and generalized period pain.

Yet, simply tolerating your period symptoms is not enough. Learn to manage and relieve your period drama with these tips and tricks. You’ll be able to enjoy your summer plans, even if you are on your period.

1. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Staying hydrated is essential to combatting grueling period pain, fatigue, and headaches associated with your period. That’s why it is important to keep a water bottle handy at all times. Drink a glass of water when you wake up and right before bed, and keep a water bottle nearby throughout the day to remind you to hydrate.
